Editorial Policy and Methodology

Our standards

Our pages deal with money and gambling — topics where a wrong claim can cost a reader real funds. So we hold ourselves to three rules: accuracy over speed, transparency over appearance, and reader protection over partner interests. Every page shows what we verified ourselves, what we took from sources, and what we could not confirm. If a fact cannot be supported, we either label it or leave it out.

Where our information comes from

We use a source hierarchy, from most to least reliable:

  1. Primary sources: regulator websites and published lists (PAGCOR, BSP, SEC), official app store listings, certificates (such as the GLI certificate linked from the X-Poker website), and the official X-Poker site.
  2. News and legal commentary: used with dates and marked as commentary — for example, coverage of the BSP e-wallet order or PAGCOR rule changes.
  3. Review sites: these are affiliate sites like ours, so we cite them only as «review sites report…» and cross-check before repeating a claim.
  4. Player reports and agent pages: used only as «reported» information, never as established fact.

What we do not use: unsourced claims, clone sites, anonymous «insider» tips, and screenshots we cannot authenticate.

How we verify facts

Every checked fact carries a date («checked on …»). Two examples of what this means in practice:

  • For our Philippines page we opened PAGCOR's published lists — the service providers and domains list dated 18 March 2025 and the gaming system administrators and brands list published October 2026 — plus the brands on pagcorguarantee.ph, and searched them for X-Poker and related company names. We state exactly which lists we could open, because absence from a list is not proof that no authorization exists elsewhere.
  • For the app download we compared the file from our download block with the official one — same size and matching sample blocks, checked 15 October 2026 — and we say so on the page.

Labels in our club tables:

  • Confirmed by author (month/year) — the author checked this herself and keeps the supporting documents (receipts, chat records).
  • Author's account (not independently documented) — the author's own experience, without documents we can show.
  • Reported only — appears in one or two sources; we have not verified it.
  • Unverified / Not verified by us — the club's or a source's own claim.

Where sources conflict or a check fails, we write «we could not confirm» or «sources disagree» rather than picking the version that reads better.

A limitation we state openly: all content pages are written and checked by the same author, and the site has no separate editor. That is why we show dates, sources and labels on every page, so that readers can check the work themselves.

How we evaluate clubs and agents

Our caution criteria — editorial judgment, not legal findings — include: no public history of the club or agent; time pressure («slots close tonight»); contacts that keep changing; promises of «no capital required» or guaranteed profit; requests to move the chat to a different app before confirming a Club ID.

What we do not do: we do not call any club a scam without documented evidence; we do not publish one side's accusation as fact; clubs and agents may reply to anything written about them (see Corrections). We do not score clubs with numbers.

First-hand testing

Where a page involves moving money, our author tests it herself where possible. The protocol: small test amounts first (for example ₱500–1,000 via GCash), then deposits and withdrawals; for each operation we record the rail, amount range, time taken, fees, and how the agent responded. Receipts and chat records are kept by the author and are not published. What we publish is the outcome in ranges — amounts, times, fees — without club names, agent names or IDs, so that no club, agent or player can be identified.

Between March and June 2026 the author ran such a test in two clubs open to Philippine players: five deposits and four withdrawals, documented in the test log on our Philippines page and in «My experience» on the author's page. She did not test InstaPay, PESONet, bank cash-ins or USDT — and those methods are marked «not tested» wherever they appear.

Updates

Each page carries an update log and a «last updated» date. We re-review money and safety pages at least every 90 days. Unscheduled updates are triggered by events that change the facts: BSP orders, PAGCOR decisions, new app versions, or confirmed reader reports.

Corrections

To report an error, write via the contact page with the subject «Content correction». We answer within 48 hours. Confirmed corrections are made on the page and recorded in its update log. If a club owner shows that published information about their club is wrong, we correct or remove it; clubs and agents named on this site have a right of reply through the same channel.

Advertising and affiliate relationships

This site earns money from club registrations: when you follow a link or a contact button on this site and register in a club, we may receive a commission, at no extra cost to you. We want to cover X-Poker completely, so we link to the clubs, agents, apps and partners we write about; every such external link carries rel="nofollow". Download buttons on our main review lead to copies of the official X-Poker files hosted on this site and to the App Store listing. The AI-assistant block on some pages refers to a third-party product that this site does not develop or sell, and we have no commercial relationship with its vendor. Advertising does not change risk warnings, club cautions or «not tested» labels, and partners cannot ask for them to be removed or softened. The same facts are stated in About — How we make money.

Responsible gambling and age

This site is for adult readers only. The legal age for gambling depends on your country and its local gambling law, and you must meet it before you play; on our Philippines pages we follow 21+, PAGCOR's standard for licensed platforms. Gambling involves risk; play only what you can afford to lose. Help and self-limit resources are on our Responsible Gaming page.
